This document was prepared by Ixion Director Lindsay O'Reilly on 10/5/10, explaining how he fitted some of the detail parts to his Frilsham Manor.
It is provided as a guide only, and does not pretend to be the definitive guide to fitting the parts. Many modellers will find their own ways of fitting items like the lamps. It consists of:
1. An image of the detail parts, with all pieces identified;
2. Photos of the front and rear of the loco showing the fitted parts; and
3. Some additional notes on using the parts.
In all cases, it is suggested that any glue be used SPARINGLY. In particular, do not 'gum up' the coupler sockets when fitting the guard irons.
